Volume 4: April 1981

The fourth volume of Fast Forward included an early version of Rowland Howard's much-covered 'Shivers', three major interviews (with English punk poet John Cooper Clark, Canberra group *** ***, and American group Pere Ubu), and several shorter snippets: some of them humorous (the interview with Adam Ant's uncle) or curious (the Missing Link ad for a Residents album). Make sure you click on the liner-notes for details about these and other artists.

The artwork in this issue became more complex, comprising a printed plastic container and extra paper material such as a collage and a crossword. Click the thumbnails to see these at full size.
